I saw this was on IFC one night when I DVR’ed the movie. I remember when the film was released in the theaters but there wasn’t much buzz about it.
The film stars some actors that were popular at the time and some that have since become household names: Christina Ricci, Jesse Eisenberg (even more of a star now with The Social Network), Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek, Fringe), singer Mya, Portia de Rossi, Scott Baio, Shannon Elizabeth, Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) and the always sidekick, Judy Greer.

Written by Kevin Williamson, the film was campy, funny, and not scary at all. Not being a werewolf fan, this tale was an entertaining one.
Ellie and Jimmy are driving home and are involved in a car accident. We learn that both Ellie and Jimmy are attacked by some beast. Enter Jake, the boyfriend, and other cast of characters that round out this tale. There are some red herrings quite common to Williamson’s writing but these elements did not distract from enjoying the film.
Not spectacular or necessarily brilliant, but I would re-watch this movie and I don’t say that about films that often. Well done, fun for awhile, and worth a watch.
